Kunio Nakatani is in his fourth season as the Rockies massage therapist and acupuncturist. He is a state licensed acupuncturist in both Colorado and California and earned his Master of Science in oriental medicine from SAMRA University of Oriental Medicine in Los Angeles, California, in 2002.

Prior to working for the Rockies, Kuni worked as an interpreter in Japanese and English for the Texas Rangers, from 2006 to 2007.

Born April 20, 1971, in Fukuoka City, Japan, he resides in Idledale, Colorado.
